Mr. Johncox is a southern California native who has been practicing law for 28 years.
He has represented over 300 family law and over 200 criminal defense clients in Los Angeles, Mono, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, Tulare and Ventura Counties. He has also represented clients in probate matters, trust and civil litigation, juvenile dependency proceedings and guardianship cases with experience in both court trials and criminal jury trials.
A graduate of Western State University College of Law – Fullerton, Mr. Johncox was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1991.
Mr. Johncox is a former police officer, having served in the cities of Desert Hot Springs and Paso Robles. He is also an 8 ½ year veteran of the United States Army, serving both as an enlisted soldier and an officer.
Mr. Johncox has a passion for Orange County charitable causes. In 1994, he founded a charitable organization that continues to provide regular donations and support for the Orange County Ronald McDonald House, Boys & Girls Clubs of Anaheim, the Alzheimer’s Association, the MS Society, Second Harvest Food Bank and the Pacific Marine Mammal Center, among others.
Mr. Johncox believes in providing clients with a fair and realistic approach in handling their family law issues. Whether they have a dissolution or custody matter or have had the unfortunate experience of being charged with a criminal complaint, Mr. Johncox will assist each client in navigating through those difficult issues.
