From my beginning as an attorney, my focus and passion has always revolved around the practice of Divorce & Family Law. I have been there. I have been divorced myself. Therefore, the difference today is this, I have BEEN THERE, and I have been doing this Divorce thing for so long, I now truly understand both sides, all sides. I feel I truly undestand the true dynamics of the entire divorce process.

Hello, I am Douglas Pinkham, and I have been practicing Divorce & Family Law in Southern California for over a Decade now.

I graduated from Western State University, College of Law, in Fullerton, California in 1998. I studied Family Law in Law School, from a local and highly respected Judge in Orange County.

Upon passing the California State Bar, I immediately began practicing Divorce & Family Law. I ALSO QUICKLY LEARNED HOW TO AVOID MUCH OF THE ANGER & THE FIGHTING that normally goes along with the practice of Divorce & Family Law.

In The Beginning

Immediately after I was sworn in as an attorney.....I was besieged by friends and family members asking me for help with their legal matters....specifically, "family law cases". I was an attorney for 4 days, and I had 5 "Family Law" cases, & I have never looked back!

TODAY, I am passionate about Family Law. It didn't take me long to realize that I was well suited for the Family Law arm of my chosen profession. I sincerely love my work, because I believe I take people from some of the deepest, darkest times of their lives and bring them to a more comfortable and amicable relationship with each other, and the other members of their families. I know what my clients are feeling....because I have been there!

ASTONISHING FINANCIAL DIVORCE $FACTS$... Not long ago, I heard an interesting piece of trivia in "THE ORANGE COUNTY REGISTER". I was astonished to learn that the average Contested Divorce in Orange County costs well over $40,000. Obviously this is a disputed divorce, but you might be amazed to learn that the average cost of a Collaborative Divorce is still $15,000-$20,000. I say this is ridiculous, but I know why it happens, and.... I know how to avoid these high costs.

Not every divorce can be Mediated, but, my average MEDIATED DIVORCE costs less than one regular retainer fee!!!
